Thomas and Harriett had a small intimate wedding at Baur au Lac in Zurich. The day started at the lovely hotel – and when I say lovely it really was. Smack in the middle of Zurich and oozing of class. Harriett was getting ready together with her close family and friend. After that we went to the Zurich civil register office where we met up with Thomas and the rest of the crowd. Everything was smooth up to that point. They went to register before the civil ceremony and it turned out one witness was missing her passport. Without this they could not get married. I offered my driver license as an ID in order to become a witness but it was not allowed. They were rescued by a Bulgarian girl who was walking around in the building and had a passport on her. Felt like we were in a movie. After that everything was very smooth! The ceremony ended and we all walked back to the hotel. Walking through Zurich city with a small wedding crowd was pretty cool. It had something to it. There they had their apero and dinner at the hotel. In between we did the portrait session and I must say we were very lucky with the weather. We completed the session and as soon as it was over the rain came down. Perfect timing. Anyway, here are some photos from the wedding day ….
