Get In Touch
Wedding day – the main event of this three day event in Il Borro, Tuscany. If you haven’t viewed the previous two days of this blog then make sure you check it out here: day 1 and day 2.
The setup of this entire wedding was ideal – the families had two days to get to know each other before the actual wedding day. So everyone was relaxed and the day went very well.
The preparation took place in the main house of the resort – it was really fun as meghan had lots of people in her room. Downstairs in the pool room the boys were getting ready with a game and some whiskey. The ceremony was just outside the house with a view of the medieval village. After that we drove around the estate and took some portrait photos whilst the guests had a few drinks. We then got back to the guests where dinner and emotional/funny speeches took place.
Il Borro, the host of this event, is a resport, spa and winery in Tuscany. Currently owned by Ferruccio Ferragamo. There is a Manor house and next to it a medieval village which has history back to 1039. Inside these old houses you have very modern flats. Really cool!
The entire event was planned by a very experienced and highly talented wedding planner – Brenda Babcock who runs Italia Celebrations (www.italia-celebrations.com). Credit also needs to go to the bride (Meghan) who also had a big influence on the three days. The florist (www.noosheens.com) who came from Roma did a spectacular job throughout the three days. The days were also captured by the videographers from Scotland – they are called cinematefilms (www.cinematefilms.co.uk). Two very chilled guys. When their video is online I will link it from here as well.
Enjoy the photos of this lovely wedding!
