This international wedding took place at the glorious and famous The Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich. The wedding preparation started at the dolder and after that we moved to a village close to Rapperswil. After the ceremony the family had arranged a surprise to release some doves. It is always fun to see the expression of people when they are released. When the wedding apero was finished I took the couple to Rapperswil and took some portrait photos. Since we were off season we had the village to ourselves. Normally the streets are full of people. When the wedding portraits were done we went back to the Dolder Grand Hotel. As I have Polish roots (as well as the groom) I highly appreciated the polish group dance that was arranged. I could see from the guests that they had lots of fun too.
For me it is normal to have international wedding couples but this couple was uber international. The groom was brought up in Poland but lives now in the states but mother from Switzerland. The bride was brought up in South Africa but now lives in the United States. People came from US, China, Switzerland and many other countries to attend. It was impressive!
