Vanessa and Raffaele Portrait Session

Vanessa and Raffaele are getting married next year in Italy (as that’s where they are from) and they wanted some portrait photos. We decided to meet by Zug lake just before the sun was going down. This is why I love portrait sessions like this – you can arrange to meet when the light is the absolute best. These guys also made the shoot very easy – I usually ask the couple just to be with each other and try to have fun. Before I knew it these guys were throwing water at each other, kissing passionately and being generally very cute together. At one point they both were very close to fall into the water from the bridge they were standing on. Now that would have been one special photo!

I really LOVE these photos – they are great with each other, the light is perfect and the background is very subtle. Enjoy!
