Japanese Wedding in Schloss Rapperswil

Hajime & Maki who both live in Japan got married in lovely Rapperswil. The main reason they wanted to have their wedding in Switzerland was that Hajime’s wanted to be able to invite his friends and colleagues from the last 10 in Switzerland. However, this did not stop their bridesmaid who came all the way from Japan. It started off by Maki getting ready by at the hotel Schwannen. When I arrived Hajime was already dressed and ready to get married. We then walked up to Schloss Rapperswil where the ceremony took place. After this we walked around the castle and found a few spots to take some portraits. Then my day was over whilst they continued with further celebrations.

For anyone considering getting married in Rapperswil – it is a lovely place. The castle is really nice too – they have an outdoor area which is covered by plastic so perfect for rainy days even. Around the city there is a wooden bridge which would be great for photos.
